netizen or "how to blog on paper"

It is on sale ! The paper version of the well-known blog netizen is now available. Do not wait any longer and go and buy it  : quite tough, coloured, easy to read, content to discover asap to see if the paper version is as good as the Web one ;-) I leave you make your own opinion.

Small detail before going on WE : Sylvain & I were invited to the party the day before the magazine was launched. Happy to be part of that event, we unfortunately never reached Paris as our RER had to stop cause of an accident, snif... Nevermind ;-) !!

IS Mag : Primoscrib on the ice...

A new magazine on sale in your local bookshop ! You probably wonder why I talk you about it and what is the link with Primoscrib? Let me explain it to you : we have been in charge of the translations of both English/French and French/English texts you will discover in this new issue. We are not quoted yet but will be in the next one, which will be issued on February, 15th. I leave you discovering it but personnally, I find it very interesting, well written and offering nice pictures. Last but not least, a big thank you to Gayle & Hélène, who made the translations and were able to convay their translations as close as the original text. Good luck to IS Mag !

Expolangues 2006

From Wednesday next week until 21st of January, the Expolangues 2006 fair is taking place in Paris, Porte de Versailles. More than 200 exhibitors are promoting languages and cultures, the development of international communication and the defence of multilingualism.
On Wednesday, it's dedicated to professionals, the entry is free and available at Expolangues web site.

Translation causes Renault shares to drop

A translation error caused a drop in France-based car maker Renault' shares. On Tuesday, the company issued a correction stating that 2006 European sales were expected to remain flat rather than "grow slightly" -- as an earlier statement had said. According to BusinessWeek Online, Renault blamed the discrepancy on a translation error.
